Plans reflecting the state of the building during the 1780s show an oval-shaped house, with seating on the floor divided into two sections, ostensibly according to the social rank of the spectators: the Noble Parquet in front, and behind it the slightly elevated Second Parquet, with rows of benches and standing rooms at the rear. (Social segregation was not complete, however, as individuals connected to the theater, including composers and performers, could obtain passes granting admission to the Noble Parquet.) In London his improvisations and piano sonatas excited the greatest admiration. After his father died, Beethoven returned to Vienna for good. Two of its former members, Edmond Dede (1827-1903) and Charles Lucien Lambert, Sr. (c.1828-1896) fled New Orleans in the 1850s and made successful careers in France and Brazil. A prolific artist, Austrian composer Wolfgang Mozart created a string of operas, c. Như Anh was one of six pianists, aged eight to 14, hand-picked for the unique project, which brought together raw talent and a maestro who helped shape it into a poised whole.

Mozart didn't just write operas - he enhanced the genre as a whole. Wolfgang wrote music in every form and style. He wrote operas, symphonies, concertos, chamber music, piano music, piano sonatas, violin sonatas, string quartets, and church music. After playing with his usual success in Turin, Verona, Venice, Padua and other Italian cities, he returned with his father to Salzburg in March 1771, commissioned to compose a grand dramatic serenata for the approaching marriage of the archduke Ferdinand, and an opera for La Scala, to be performed during the season of 1773.
